The Space A-Holes Are Back And Better Than Ever!

When the first Guardians of the Galaxy was released back in 2014, Marvel fans were extremely satisfied.

People who had never heard of the Guardians of the Galaxy were blown away by how amazing and funny the movie was, and long time fans were more than happy with how they were translated onto the big screen.

The story was funny, the characters were crazy and charming, the action was huge, and the soundtrack was incredible… so how do they back that up with a sequel?

Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2 is by far the best damn sequel that has ever been produced! Normally studios manage to stuff it up, trying too hard to replicate what worked in the original movie.

But that is definitely not the case here! They took what worked in the first movie, and built on it like no other sequel has done before!

There’s more comedy, more action, more emotional moments, and more characters!

I’m not going to say anything about the story, or how this fits into the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but rather I’m just going to go on about how amazing this movie is.

There really isn’t anything that director and writer James Gunn has done wrong with Volume 2.

The soundtrack was different to that of the first movie, but definitely fit the more emotional tone of Volume 2. This movie will make you feel things, and you’ll be grateful for it.

This movie goes for just over 2 hours, but it feels like 5 hours and not in a bad way. It leaves you wanting more yet feeling extremely satisfied with the experience you’ve just had.

There is no way you will come away from watching Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2 without wanting to watch it again right away.

There may be some competition, but hands down this will be known as the best film of 2017.

Here’s hoping that Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok gives James Gunn a run for his money.
